I recently came across this in my reading material. What exactly does とでも do?
For example:
大鶴屋の旦那を殺した犯人たちが仲間割れをしたとでも思われるでしょう。
夕紫を襲えと傷物にしろとでも言われたか？
Also why is the imperative form of 襲う and する being used in the sentence above?
