Re: いろいろな事情がありましてね。

What is the grammar on してね in the sentence above?
What is the difference in meaning between ありましてね and あります?
What are the rules of converting all three types of verbs to this format?
Thanks!

hmm, to me it feels more like いろいろあってね、like a polite, open-ended way to say that a lot of stuff went down without going into specifics

Thanks I understand あって is the te-form of ある. What grammar form is ありましてね? What are the rules to convert a verb to this form? Thanks again!

Its just a conversational moderation of the language.
He/she could just as easily have said「 いろいろな事情があります、ね」
ありまして would typically be followed by some clause, or phrase (since sentences don't normally end with a verb in ~て form).
いろいろな事情がありまして、大変でした
いろいろな事情がありまして、退職しました etc

So in the sentence in the original post, the speaker has just left the second part unsaid, and the listener (and reader) is left to imagine what he/she was implying.
The meaning wouldn't be significantly changed if the sentence read 「いろいろな事情がありますね」but it would sound slightly more abrupt, and slightly more definitive.

It's just "the -te form of あります + a sentence final particle ね", thus, a polite version of あってね, as already explained.
