Hi,

1. 「ダンブルドアは『忠誠の術』が一番助かる可能性があると二人にそう言ったんだ」

Did Dumbledore say "『忠誠の術』が一番助かる可能性がある"? I am having slight difficulty with this が ... が structure. Does it mean:

The possibility/likelihood exists that "『忠誠の術』が一番助かる"?

2. 『例のあの人』がリリーとジェームズの隠れている村を何探そうが、...

Does this mean that he would search the village or search for the village?

3. 「自分がポッター夫妻の『秘密の守人』になろうと申し出られたことを覚えていますよ」

Is 申し出られた passive or honorific?

4. ほんでもってヤツが言うには ...

Is ほんでもって = ほん / で / もって = some variant of それでもって?

5. 「ヤツがジェームズとリリーが死んで取り乱してたんではねえんだと、俺にわかるはずがあっか？」

What is あっか?

6. ... ブラックはゴチャゴチャ言うとったは ...

Is 言うとった = 言っとった = 言っておった?

Note the use of ねえ for ない, which should serve as an alert to be in the lookout for other such colloquial pronunciations of commonly used elements.

I think there may be some Kansai-ben going on in some of the things you asked about.

可能性がある performs as a set phrase.

『忠誠の術』が一番助かる可能性がある / 高い＝『忠誠の術』が一番助かる可能性を持つ / 有する

Isn't there a typo in 隠れている村を何探そうが?

That's honorific. The passive is used only for 迷惑の受身. (The speaker must have authority to permit it in that case.)

Yes, it should read 隠れている村を何年探そうが...

Grammatically, both are equally possible. 村の中を何年探そうが might be preferred for the former case, though.

By the way, does this 言って -> 言うて / 言った -> 言うた pattern occur with other verbs too? I think I have only seen it with 言う.
