Hi folks, thanks for your continuing help. I have another bunch of questions...
I hope the start of this means "Now, about the request I made the other day, ...". Then I'm a bit stuck on Is the speaker possibly asking if he can receive the favour of the other person's consideration of his request?
Is this just a more polite version of どうぞよろしくおねがいします with もうしあげる an honorific variant of する?
My translation: "...our gross sales in America are also increasing...".
Does おり derive from おる ("be", humble)? What form is おり here? (おり is the end of the clause.)
My translation: "In Europe, too, I know (our customers) are always satisfied (with our products)." (Lit: we can always receive satisfaction).
Is this correct (given that the surrounding context is about export of a company's products around the world)?
I'm not very sure about all these instances of いただける. This is the potential form of いただく, right? Why is the potential form being used?
My translation: "If you need any more details or have any questions I can call again to explain, so please don't hesitate to get in touch."
I don't really understand I get "I think that if I am able to receive (your communication/contact)", but it doesn't make sense in English. How does this part work? Is it some kind of fixed expression?
I also don't really understand Literally I thought it meant "regarding (the possible fact that) it doesn't seem detailed enough", which I loosely translated as above. Is this right?
