The song of Bernadette (ﾂ青ｹﾂ祥?鞘??

For my Japanese wife I'm desperately looking for downloadable Japanese subtitles of the DVD movie ﾂ青ｹﾂ祥?鞘? 'The Song of Bernadette' (1943). I already tried several subtitle download sites without succes... Somebody has a hint please ? Doomo arigatoo gozaimasu !

I take it the DVD is a Region 2 disc? If it is then if Japanese is not in the subtitles menu on the disc, then you may need another Region coded disc that does have Japanese subtitles on it. For the various different regions here is something to help you :- DVD region code - Wikipedia

As for downloading subtitles yourself and putting them directly onto a pre-recorded DVD, which could well be copywrited, I think your chances are virtually zero.

I think your best bet is to go online to say Amazon in Japan and order the film from Japan directly. Hopefully it will be available either dubbed into Japanese or with Japanese subtitles.
