Hello! I have written a small java program for mobile phones for practicing Japanese. I call it 'Kunren'.
It can show random words from a word list and their translation, or you can guess the correct translation, or view the whole list.
Kanji are supported.
There are several word lists included, some are Japanese-English and some are Japanese-Norwegian.
It is possible to create your own word lists, to do so you will need to have Python and PIL installed.
Handy for getting in a few minutes of practice during breaks, while on the bus, etc. There are hiragana and katagana word lists, useful for beginners.
All you need to use it is a java capable phone that you can connect to your computer.
I thought I'd post a link to the web page, but I see I can't since I just registered. Fair enough. I'll attach a screenshot and do it like this: if anyone is interested in this, I can PM them the link, and maybe they could post it here? If not, I'll just shut up.
