I have some problems with particles in these sentences:

道を渡るとき、車に気を付けてください
why is に used instead of を for the particle after 車?

ここに触ると、CDが出ます。
This is a scenario of pushing a button to get the CD out of a CD player. Why is が used instead of を?

I'm really having a hard time for particles. Thank you.

For the second one, 出る is an intransitive verb and can't take an object. を indicates the direct object of transitive verbs.

が出る
を出す

Notice that the verb is 付ける(something like "to put") and the object 気(concern/attention) already exists there, thus, 車 is not the object but the target (or "location" since 車 is the place where the concern/attention is put) of the verb. You can think that 気を付ける works as a set phrase and the target is indicated by に.

Thanks! So basically "to put attention" is what 気をつける means literally right?
