Hello @chieb! Nice to see you here pal! Well, as I far as I remember, based from what I have read from different forums and platforms, the results for PGP applicant will be out by around August. Hope this helps. :)

Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm very happy because Waseda nominated me for the scholarship and I only need to wait for the final confirmation in July from MEXT.

Pleasure is all mine @Maria_arbell! I've applied via university-recommendation at Ritsumeikan University and luckily I was nominated too. I'm also waiting too for the results but mine will be out by around May or June. I will keep you posted once I receive mine.

Hello @Tepanyakigo! Nice to meet you here! Where did you apply? I'm also waiting for the final results by the end of May. I'd like to think that it would be released by the first week of June if in case we don't receive the results by May though.

I"ve asked the assistant of my professor but he hasn't replied me... probably because of golden week in japan
 
Hello everybody,

I got nominated for the MEXT scholarship by Juntendo University in Tokyo.
They said that MEXT needs to give the final confirmation and it will be in May: any chance to be refused? Is it going to be by the end of the month or could it be any day?

hello there :) hopefully by the end of this month at max we will have known the final decision from mext.

There IS a chance of failure / being rejected but at this point it is small.

May 10th already xD yey... Coming closer to announcement time

Hello there, I just came across this forum today and found it to be very helpful.
I have also been nominated by JAIST for university recommendation and my Professor told me that the results would be out in May. I am worried here as well.

I hope all of us get through. Fingers crossed :)
