Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Undergraduate Scholarship 2017

Are the exams different for each country? Because you say the chemistry exam is the easiest and maths and physics are really hard but to me it seems the oposite, the chemistry one (specially orgarnics) is the hardest

Well.. I didn't say that Physics examinations are hard -- Cause I don't take Physics actually!(Because I'll be applying for "Natural Science C"_Medicine) and I've got biology exam instead.
But it really depends on you. And the exams are not different! All of the countries take the same exam.

Hi.
You'd better contact your embassy. 'Cause your case is a little different.
Try to contact them, and explain everything you have doubts about. They may help you find your answers!
Hi, thanks for taking a look at my post! :)
But I don't understand, how is my case different? I think that only applies to my third question, as I see that most of you guys aspire for science, and I'm focused on humanities etc.

(I wanted to edit my previous post to add something, but I can't find the edit button, sorry)
I did some "research" today on my second question, and I think I found something relevant.
After the preparatory year at the language school, the prospective students will have to take entrance exams in order to enroll into universities of their choice. Thats what websites of Todai and Kyoto University say, or rather, what I understand them to be saying. I think it might have been obvious for the rest of you, but to all the others like me who have been oblivious, well, here you go :D
Well, that's for the selection part, although I'm still confused as to what those entrance exams are. Is it, like, EJU, or like センター試験, or maybe they hold special exams just for this case?
I'd be very happy if someone could enlighten me, or at least help me find a reliable source of information, as my embassy seems to be a little clueless when I try to dig dipper into the topic.

So, what diference does the high school grade make to the entrance exam?

Hi guys.
I was wondering, if I didn't managed to get the scholarship this year, am I eligible to apply for it again next year? (within the age limit)

Hi!
Well, if your age would be above 22(at the time of your arrival, not getting the scholarship) then no, you won't be eligible, however, if you don't meet the age limits, you are eligible to apply for the scholarship again and again. Good luck!

have you contacted your embassy?

In Nigeria here, the embassy made it known that the application information will be available from mid April - June.

so I'll just keep learning the language aspect.
I don't know how competitive it is but I'm sure Korean scholarship is pretty competitive here in Nigeria bcos I applied twice and didn't make it.

Hey Robozilla! WOW. If that's it, I'm sure you'll be able to pass the whole stages this year too! Fighting!!
Well, I have a question that nobody's sure about it, but I guess you may know. I will ask my question by message. And, would you please send me the 2011 to 2015 examination papers too? Either with a message, or email, it doesn't matter!

Thanks in advance! ~~

Hello everyone! I'm a highschool student from Croatia and I would like to study either Pharmacy or Chemistry. I have seen the past papers from Chemistry and Biology and they seem like a piece of cake compared to Croatian standardized exams, but the case with Maths is compeletely opposite. I'm pretty good at Maths, but the main problem is that Croatian syllabus in Maths is not as advanced as Japanese. So I'd like to ask whether MEXT provides us with the syllabus in Maths. Also, my japanese proficiency is somewhere around N2 and my plans were to take the n2 the last december, but under certain circumstances I wasn't able to attend the examination. Do you think that N2 is enough to be able to learn Japanese in a six month period enough to understand the lectures?
Also, do you have any recommendations regarding colleges in Japan for pharmacy and chemistry, since I'm pretty uninformed about that. Thank you in advance! :)
