Which studies may be helpful in finding employment in JP ??

First of all just wanna say hello as it's my first post on the board !

Atm I'm preparing to kind of exam called "Matura" in Poland, that rates students and allow us to choose studies discipline. As my major goal is ultimately to move to Japan I'm having dissonance of choice now. From career perspective I'm interested in chemistry and new technologies. I just wanna hear from someone maybe working in staff recruitment, knowing the labour market there or simply having good intuition. I gotta present you my selection of studies and I'll ask you to judge them:
- Nanotechnology
- Nanostructures engineering
- Pharmacy
- Nuclear safety and radiation protection
- Chemistry: of food technology / cosmetics / technical chemistry
- Energetics and nuclear chemistry
- Physicochemistry of new materials,
- Innovative technologies and new materials
- Mechanics and materials engineering
I'll be bloody grateful if someone really knows what specialists japan seeks. I know life is unpredictable, basically non studies can guarantee success etc. I simply want to know your opinion, maybe rate my chances after specific course. Nanostructures engineering attracts me hardest personally. I obviously want to learn japanese language, but that will take some time along studies, so we speak about 3-5 year perspective.

I can't directly answer but I would take a look at MEXT to see what kinds of fields of study they are granting scholarships to foreigners:

My 2 cents: Don't study what will get you into Japan, but study for a profession or field you really want to work in and then try to get a job in Japan. Education is expensive, takes about four years of your life to complete, and most likely will influence what you can and cannot do for a big part of your day for most of your life. You better feel good about what you do at work, and not only outside of work. If you are very good at what you do and speak Japanese good enough at business level, opportunities will follow.

Refering to this Mext program, I understand almost nothing. I guess it's a paid exchange which I can't really afford. I'm rather interested in eventual short exchanges at university contracts (when i'll learn sufficient japanese) if I will have such opportunity. Generally speaking studying at homeland is a safer plan that fits my personal situation right now. I never heard of CFN and since I can't read japanese it doesn't clarify as much as I wanted but while browsing english offers I came to similar conclusion as cocoichi said:

If you are very good at what you do and speak Japanese good enough at business level, opportunities will follow.

. Developing and building future techs seems really exciting to me, all studies I wrote go along with interests. In meanwhile I consulted with some people "in buisness" irl and thought about it. I will simply go with "innovative technologies and new materials" and do my best there ! Language, education, self-abnegation and maybe experience will do it I believe, if that's really what i want in life . I look too further in future. As long as this studies aren't philosophy and gives actual qualification i shouldn't be that concerned. And Cocoichi, everything you said is pretty smart, that's a healthy approach, thanks.

Actually no. This is a great opportunity if you can get it. The scholarship covers almost all your fees even air fare. The only thing you need to cover is your living expenses (rent, food) but they even give you a small monthly allowance. There are many threads here about it. Take a look if you're interested.
