Yup I'm flying with KLM on the 5th of September. How about you?
I confirmed with the Office of International students about flight schedule but I haven't been contacted by the travel agency. My flight will arrive on Sep. 7. Do you have VISA, @Nimanahoshi @alchie ?

There are no direct flights from Romania to Japan.
I wrote Mext Japanese studies student at the 'affiliation to Doshisha University.' Don't know if it's correct though.

I'm pretty sure that they're asking "which department will you be affiliated with at Doshisha". The Japanese form says「同志社大学で所属する学部・研究科名」, so I put "Center for Japanese Language and Culture" (日本語・日本文化教育センター for the Japanese form).

5:40 on Sep 7 at Kansai International Airport. I haven't got the e-ticket either, and I will go to the Japan Embassy in my country next Monday for Visa.
I haven't seen it before. What is it?

Yes, I got it, I will stay at Maison Iwakuni. How about you? Deadline for the form is Aug 21, so I think I will have e-ticket to fill in information about arrival date and flight before the deadline. I think we dont need air ticket to apply for Visa.

I got my e-ticket, and I'll be arriving at KIX on September 28th.
Other than that, that is the most information I've been given. I also made a preference on dorm choice, but apparently it's all chosen by lottery, which is kind of a bummer.
Does anyone know anyone that has stayed at the Kyoto University dormitories? I've seen photos but I can't really judge quite yet. I'm worried I won't like them :/

No ticket from the travel agency yet. I did receive the flight itinerary from my embassy though... They said my flight was booked so I'm not too worried about it.

It was the same for me.
I received my e-tickets yesterday. Have you received yours?
I think the travel agency was talking about the TAX for the air ticket. MEXT paid for the ticket, but we have to pay for the TAX.
