A bit off-topic, but I've noticed that 大辞林 does not have this particular usage listed. How do these entries work in general? In case of 大辞泉 the numbered sections list general application and I assume those ア、イ、ウ、エ sub-sections are just example rather than an exhaustive list of usages? I mean, I shouldn't be worried if there's no sub-section matching a particular usage, as long as it fits the main section?
