Need a word or phrase translated?

I'm a bit confused with the ため usage in the following sentence. I just can't understand why does it used here.
一説には、事前に体験した事柄の影響で脳の活動が活発になり、ドーパミンが禍分泌され、それが妄想を強く引き起こすためとされている
ため expresses the cause/reason. A phenomenon is mentioned in the previous sentence, right? A theory says that what is explained there is the cause of it(= the phenomenon).

could somebody please translate this into japanese:
Honda
CBR
Red Star
Here's a transliteration, not translation.
ホンダ
CBR
レッドスター

Is this the correct thread to ask someone to check my grammar? I have a question I want to ask my friend, but I'm a complete novice at Japanese.

@Toritoribe So, this ため connects this whole sentence - 「一説には、事前に体験した事柄の影響で脳の活動が活発になり、ドーパミンが禍分泌され、それが妄想を強く引き起こす」 with the sentences before?

Yes. It's questionable if 一説には should be included or not, though.

As usual, context?
Can't you really guess what もん or ねえ are changed from? Have you never seen them before?

仕方ねえ is can't be helped.
いるもん according to JIM Dic is ''thing someone needs or want''
But I can't put them together.
Context is: A party talk about a girl who appear to be their opponent. They wonder why she is here and why she join the enemy's side.

いる is 居る there, not 要る you found in the dictionary. This is exactly why I asked the context. It's unclear just by your quotation. 彼女がいるのは仕方がない makes more sense, maybe?

The sentences before it is:
かける: あの機体はドーナツ女の! ってことは...!
あまね: あのお姉さんもアーステアに来てたんだ...
けん: けど、なんでこんな所にいるんだよ!?しかもガルデンに味方してるじゃんか!?
かける: さあな! いるもんは仕方ねえ!

それにこう吹雪がすげぇんじゃ、敵も襲って来やがらねえだろうからな
Does it work like て-form?

すげぇんじゃ = すごいのではないか = 凄いですね
Does that help clarify?

それにこう吹雪がすげぇんじゃ、敵も襲って来やがらねえだろうからな
Does it work like て-form?
すげぇんじゃ is the colloquial/slangy form of すごいのでは.
~のでは is conditional here, as the same meaning as ~ては/たら. This conditional explains the cause/reason of the main clause when it's applied to a real fact.

すごいのでは = すごくては/すごかったら = すごいから/すごいのだから
Because the blizzard is so strong

Hi!
Quick question: Over the years I have often seen "(棒)" in some manga at the end of a sentence and I'm not sure what it's supposed to indicate and my long research was inconclusive.
My best guess would be that it either indicates sarcasm, but that only made sense sometimes so I still have no clue.
I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

棒読み - reading in a monotone (such as reading words from a script without putting any effort/emotion into it).

It can be sarcastic, indicating the speaker doesn't mean what they just said.

ガルデンまで生きてやがったとはな。。。
''It is a pity that even Galden survived.'' (?)
Context: Galden is the enemy player must beat. Unfortunately he run away after listen to his subordinate's advice. There are also a bunch of enemies but after I beat some of them they retreat.

今まで散々戦いを挑んでおいてそれかよ!
Context: A guy being forced into a corner. He give a suggestion that the heroes should join his side to fight against the same enemy.
The previous sentence is:
その目的のために我らエルンストは戦う!
きさまたちもアースティアを守るなら共に戦え!
My attempt: ''That is why we fight severely until now!''

The subject of 戦いを挑んでおいて is the addressee.
挑んでおいて is used for adversative conjunction, similar to 挑んできたにもかかわらず/挑んできたのに.
それ refers to what the addressee has said "きさまたちもアースティアを守るなら共に戦え."

It feels a bit ambiguous to me, what does exactly the bolded part modifes, both 脱ぎ捨てる?
するりと肩から抜くように衣服を脱ぎ捨てる

Thank you. But I can't figure out why it is 抜く? What makes you think it is not 脱ぎ捨てる?
Because there is no coma before 抜く(to split them)?

Last edited:
Because するりと肩から抜く is a very common expression when undressing clothes, whereas 肩から脱ぎ捨てる doesn't make much sense.
