MEXT Scholarship 2015 (Specialized Training)

I'm not, I thought about it but decided not to.
What major are you going for?

Well cause i decided to go for the undergraduate program :) And cause I want the scholarship to allow my stay in Japan to be for 5 years rather than 3 years. I prefer the specialized training cause then i can take design as a major. But the thing is, i want to stay in Japan. If i can find a design job in Japan after university, then id love that and id probably go for the specialized training scholarship, but i dont know...

I'll have my exams on 24th of June. I'm really worried about maths and the exam is just around the corner

am having mine on 26th...also worried about maths.Worst part is that i was told by someone who has already sat for the exam that maths is the hardest but english is okay

For the specialized training, can I choose to just remain with studying the Japanese language, to get a bachelor's degree in rather than a diploma? And one of the listed fields of study is "culture". Can anyone elaborate on this? If it's the study of Japanese culture then I like it. But would it also be a diploma?

I don't want to apply for the undergraduate scholarship, because it's too competitive, so i'm looking for alternatives in specialized raining, where I can actually go further with my technical studies to a university level and attain a university degree. My interests are in Political Science, International Relations, Japanese Language and Culture, even thought these aren't technical subjects. I guess I'm just looking for some advice, insight on what I should do. Should I just apply for the undergraduate scholarship. Just to try my luck?
