How old is Japan according to Shinto

In Shinto the islands of japan were created by Izanami and Izanagi, i am wondering how long ago that would have been and if the rest of the world had been formed already.

I ask as in a fan fiction i am writing it's revealed that Shinto is mostly true but that Japan was artificially created by Izanami, who was just a genius mage, to mirror the civilization she came from (in another dimension). Izanami learned that Izanagi was using her to breed an army for him to then build his empire, when she fled to the world of Yomi Izanagi chased her, after a battle between Izanagi and Izanami's family and her children which most killed died by the time Izanagi was killed, Izanami is left in a coma but her body somehow gain immortality.

Before that Izanami is close friends with Balena, the first king of another civilization known as Belka so i want to compare the Age of Earth (particular Japan) with Belka but also Amaterasu, Susanoo, Tsukuyomi and Ame-no-Uzume all protected devices Izanami invented and hid across Japan. the 4 founded Shinto and made their mother out to be the Goddess of Death to scare away any who found her devices. by the time of the fanfic Amaterasu is the last one alive and is defeated by one of the characters saying at the end

"For the [XTHOUSAND] years i have watched [GENCOUNT] generations pass me by, but i have remained here protecting the SUZAKU Unit of the system", Amaterasu coughed spitting up blood staining her white robes, the light in her eyes beginning to die, "but after [XTHOUSAND] years i can sense Father's perverse taint for the first time, it was in Egypt where the OURYU Unit, the Controller, was moved to after the Americans stole it during the second world war. and now i sense him here, at Tokyo Tower"

i'd like to make sure i'm as close to correct to what Shinto says now rather than say for example, Japan was formed after the rest of the world and is 10,000 years old, and do calculations on events and eras based off that and learn later on it's wrong

that page seems to be playing up on me but just from the landing page and those that worked it doesn't seem to answer my question, based off what i can read and the title of the book i don't think it'll answer my question.

i am making the assumption that Shinto scriptures have something that contradicts what scientists have learned about the planet's age like how Christianity seems to contradict that the planet is billions of years old claiming it's only a few thousand years but while reading i did think that maybe scriptures don't actually give Japan's age so i'm also looking for how old Shinto is since in my fanfic Amaterasu, Susanoo, Tsukuyomi and Ame-no-Uzume founded Shinto so i can get Shinto's age + their age + ~1 year for Izanami's pregnancy + how long it'll take to form the land according to the fictions' lore

While searching for (and not finding) the answer to your earlier question yesterday, I did see the answer to your current one on Wikipedia. Did you try looking there?

Have you considered how it might sound to Japanese people to essentially say, "I'm going to write some fiction and appropriate your little fictional gods for characters in it"? It is a religion and while I doubt anyone would get too terribly upset about it, airing such cultural misappropriation could be considered more than just a tad indelicate.

i did find on wikipedia references to 300 BC and something called Kojiki which dates to the early 8th century (711–712) however these are just wikipedia and they don't have that citation number next to them so i don't want to solely relay on a single source unless it's been validated by an outside party

i wouldn't use those words as i'm not saying "your belief is totally wrong, this is what it really is" since the fan fiction is that of an anime series so there is already a universe which differs from our own. Izanami being from another civilization explains how Japan is incredibly similar if not identical to a ancient yet advance civilization which couldn't be accessed, how 2 characters who came from the there follows a lot of japanese customs despite having never been to earth and how Amaterasu uses the same kind of magic system as them despite being born on earth.

I know that some people may find it offensive that i'm making changes to stuff like this like making Izanagi out to be a real b****** but ofcause these things appear through out the story, not in one giant slab. people may get offended in my doing this, people may also get offended if i didn't make changes thinking i'm promoting a religion over another or being a hypocrite for not believing in gods in general. these things may happen but i shouldn't let that stop me learning more about something in order to see what i could do with it, it's like how in the Nasuverse Greek Gods are portrayed as p***** for what they did to Medea and Medusa and her sisters or in Assassin's Creed where all Jesus related Mythos are illusions created from advance technology.

when Final Fantasy VII came out hits on the Sephirot went up because of people looking up Sephiroth (which is also a English translation of the original Hebrew word) and it is portrayed in End of Evangelion so people invested in it will look up the origin, in Final Fantasy VII Sephiroth's life can be seen as the progression though the Sephirot from JENOVA giving birth (Malchut) to Sephiroth goal for the Reunion (Keter), infact the final boss could be see as Chochmah and defeating it is deigning Sephiroth the promotion to Keter. in my fiction when someone reads it they may think "why is this Izanagi such a horrible person to his wife" and look him up coming to the conclusion "possibly the writer saw Izanagi as detestable for abandoning Izanami in Yomi after seeing how she looked"

According to the mythical account of the Kojiki, Onogoro Island was created when the divine couple Izanagi and Izanami churned the sea with a jewelled spear from their vantage point on the floating bridge of heaven.[1] When they raised the spear from the ocean, drops fell from the spear, forming the island. They built a palace on top with a great column in the middle. The couple walked around this pillar in opposite directions, and when they encountered each other, they were wed. This island is where Hiruko was conceived.

The island is mentioned only thrice in the Kojiki, at ch.3:3, ch:7:25, and ch.111:32.[
