All right, good for us! As for the second one, a good amount of Japanese girls would be shorter than you, but there are some who will be slightly taller, an even smaller few are much taller. On the avarage, I would suspect you're ahead of the curve...

You can lift weights and add muscle to your body, which most Japanese males lack. Then you will look impressive even at your height.

I was very fortunate that I grew to be 5'10" (178cm) when my mother was only 4'10". Through weight training I've built up to 95 kg and most people think I'm taller than I am.

I think what stopped me from growing much was running too much without eating a lot.
I used to be in the track and field club and my part was long distance running.
We members ran at least over 20km everyday.
Running that much makes you lose the appitite so I couldn't really eat meals dispite the fact my body needed a lot..... I think clubs in Japan are generally really hard.

I used to train to grow my muscle a lot but I'm now 受験生, which means I have to study hell hard like 24/7 so I can't keep on doing it.
What's happening is I'm slightly losing my muscle and gaining fat instead!

Personally, I'm a lot taller than both of my parents. I'm 1,78m (5'10"), whereas my dad is 1,63m (5'4") and my mom is only 1,60m (5'3"). They're also both clearly overweight, whereas I'm very slender

You'll be close to 2m at maturity!

Most women in Japan are between 150cm and 160cm. So, if you insist on someone closer to your height you might have to look for a tall Gaijin woman who is too tall for most Japanese men.

tall girls find it hard to get boyfriends in japan, thats where I come in, I can't date short girls as it hurts my neck, physcially speaking.
