Hello everyone.
First of all, sorry for any mistake, i need to practice my english >.<
i'm a little worried here....
I wasn't a perfect student, my first year of high school was terrible and i don't have anything special in my historic, but i started to study more in the last 2 years (i've already finished HS). I got the necessary (and a little more) to do the written exam, but, i'm worried because i think that my HS documents will "disrupt" (that's the word?) my evaluation in the last stage, when they send the documents to MEXT, even if i get high marks in the written exam (and i think i can do that...).
So, should i really be worried...?

1) No , I don't think but u should sit and take a japanese exam even u didn't answer anything .. ask ur embassy to be sure

If u worried or not .. There is nothing will change but it's a normal feeling
live ur life , do ur best & pray to ur god .

So , what's ur plan to prepare for the written exam ? What's the major you want to apply for ?
My friend's high school results were not very good. He was perhaps 70th percentile of the cohort, but he still received the scholarship. He did really well in the selection test though. He had the highest or 2nd highest score for physics in my country. So I think they place more weight in the selection test than your school results. If your results have been an upward trend, don't worry too much about it.

I will apply for Natural Sciences A, i want to study electrical, electronic or aerospace engineering.
My plan is: try to forget my worries (the hard part) and study a lot Here we have a institute of engineering very hard to enter, i will use their exams to practice.

I know for the Natural Sciences, you don't need to place as much emphasis on the Japanese exam. However, I believe they are important in the other areas like Social Sciences.

I am taking English classes to improve it to the tests and the interview. I have some questions:
1)In Japanese Colleges of Medicinel, will I have to see Math classes? Because the test has Math, and at least in my country medicine doesn't have Math in its syllabus.
2)Do you have any digital book to study for the exams? I would be glad if you showed me some!
I feel I can only pass English test, I haven't started the unversity yet so I am studying by myself.

I got accepted for the 2014 one, so I applied last year.
As I've stated some posts back in this thread, I have heard that it is very important for prospective medical students to do well in mathematics. The source is from an embassy staff in my country. I also know a guy who applied for medicine, and he said he found the math paper very difficult. He got to the interview stage, but was only 2 out of all the interviewee in my country (there were more than 5 interviewee) who did not get the scholarship. It doesn't prove that he failed to get the scholarship because of his math results, as there could be other factors affecting this decision, so make what you will of this.
Are those syllabuses similar to MEXT tests? Or are they the same for EJU and MEXT?

Hi. I'm from the philippines. I want to apply for undergraduate scholarship in medicine but i'm turning 21 on March 23. I read the age limit begins on April 2.

I'm not 100% sure but from what I've read online, that seems to be the case.
Here's my working. I applied the Product Rule to find the first derivitive and then found the x co-ordinate of the stationary point. Afterwards, I used the second derivitive to determine the nature of the stationary point, which was a maximum. So, to find the minimum point, I added half the wave length of the curve (pi radians or 180 degrees) to the x value found initially. I plugged this value into the original function and got it's minimum value. Sorry if what I'm saying sounds confusing.
