My vocabulary is kind of pathetic right now, and I'm trying to read some stuff to just build up some experience. I came across a particularly annoying character while playing Volfoss today that I can't seem to work out. If anyone knows what it is, I'd love to hear it!

Also, if anyone has any suggestions for better ways of locating kanji, I'd love to hear it. I kind of doubt it, since I am exhausting every possible method I can think of... first, I attempt to do a search using identifiable radicals. Generally it's okay for kanji with very few parts, but like for this one, I can't tell what parts are making up which (due to games drawing in very small fonts). I've tried every combination of radicals that they MIGHT be, and I have yet to get a proper hit.
When that fails, I'm using my Nintendo DS kanji dictionary (漢字そのまま楽引辞典). I have to attempt to draw it using what I can tell about the stroke order. I've noticed some patterns in how they try to "combine" strokes to save space and such, so I try a lot of different combinations. Usually this works, but in cases where both of these fail, I'm kind of out of options, and the only thing I can do is ask for help. Or just learn more kanji, which could take awhile.
