, oh..just the basic questions like..what kind research that u want to do in japan, explain in detail... why choose japan and not other places.. what is ur contribution/ how do u contribute in relation of bringing ur country and japan closer.. give reasons for ur preferred university, why u choose to apply there... what is ur plan/ what do u want to do after ur study.. that's about all that i can remember.the interview was just 15 minutes. i don't know what questions they will ask for ur country but from my interview i think the most important thing is u need to really need to know ur research well.how u want to conduct it..what goal or findings that u expect to achieve.. i hope this helps .

It seems the Japanese embassy here is having tough time to finalize the results. the wait for result is getting on my nerves.
Hope it brings good news.
btw, I cleared the written exam part to take admission in Pre PhD course of my university, will have to take a VIVA exam before I get admission.

Hello every one. The questions that were asked in my interview were all those that the above post mentioned plus:
Why did you not choose the authors in your bibliography as professors?
Have you contacted professors?
Why only schools in Tokyo?
there were 6 people in my panel and it was 30 minutes long.
Guys, has the rules this year changed? Are we supposed to get admission ONLY from the schools on our list and also the professor on our list?
The lady from my embassy, well she's not the head, she said she's not sure yet ( she should bE!) but we SHOULD get the admission from the 3 profs, 3 schools only.
this is making me nervous.
And then I emailed the 3 schools, and apparently I should only contact the admission office specializing in MEXT, and then they will be the one to contact the professor or the graduate school in question.
How true is this in your case? I contacted Todai, Waseda, Jouchi

hey everyone, it seems all of you guys has taken the exam for Mext Scholarship this year
I will apply for this scholarship next year (I will study Economics). Could you please tell me something about the exam? Is the Maths hard? What kind of exercises did they ask?

Please, for all! I have a question! I'm from Tunisia and I'll sit for the exam next wednesday! I can't understand this?? the exam isn't international? I mean, we don't sit for the same exam me and others from other countries?? If not, does mean that the exam you've taken is the same that I'll take next wednesday! Not logical!

i heard the undergrads interview result out already last 2 days,
now just sit and wait ... patiently ... :haihai:
from past few years the result will be out in bout 2 weeks time, too nervous when no news till nowNo one knows when. Hopefully it'll be out soon. Hoping for the best!

well, from our interview week till now it's not exactly 2 weeks yet, so maybe it'll be out this Friday? can only wait and hope for it.
