It's not complete. や shows it's not two lines and a plane intersecting, but two lines, two planes, (maybe a line and a plane?), etc. Maybe they're thinking that spheres or circles or cubes or other such things can intersect.

You should at least post your own attempt first, and if you have difficulties with a word or phrase, ask more specifically.
When your teacher asked you to translate something, it is to measure how well you understood lessons, it is not a good idea to ask someone else to do your own homework...

Your translation and basic sentence structure are correct.

It is perfectly all right just the way it is when you are speaking personally to another. As a motto, however, the style is usually modified to be more exhalted and impersonal--remove です and change 私の to 我が

In a nutshell, it can be like this:
私は、我が運命の支配者、我が魂の指揮官

Personally, I don't think this translation is all that great. Yours is quite acceptable under ordinary circumstances.

I'm actually a total noob in jap, but I'm doing this for a friend who's really interested in all things japanese!
I guess I'm supposed to take the to effort to actually do it myself, but with my current (lack of) knowledge in this language, I'd rather not risk it. XP
It should be fine if there isn't a direct translation for it, as the long meaning stays the same. (I can't even directly translate that phrase in mandarin without altering the phrase)

「自分の人生の目的をよく覚えとけ」ってのはどうかな。

How about "自分の人生の目的を（よく）覚えとけ"? (I found it interesting that when I input "jibunnnojinsei" Google suggested 自分の人生の目的 as a search term). This is like someone giving a friend a somewhat strong piece of advise (kind of in a "you'd better" tone). I kind of like having よく ("well") in there, but I suppose it isn't necessary. I don't know how that fits with what your friend had in mind, though.

How would you say it in Mandarin? I'd guess 別忘你的人生的目的 off the top of my head, but I'm guessing it's not very good.

For some reason it looks like there's a 脱字 in there, where it says 予めご承願います. I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be 予めご了承願います.

"Remember the purpose of your life" in English is odd as a phrase since it seems contrary to the idea of everyone creating their own goals and meaning as a single individual. Something like "Always keep your goals firmly in mind" or "Always be clearly aware of your purpose (in life)" leaves open the possibility of change and so are a little more natural.

自分の人生の目的をしっかりと意識して。。。

(自分の人生の)目的を、常に心に留めて(おきなさい)。。。

To begin with, "As they walk down the street" is 歩いている間に. 彼らは should then come at the front of the first clause if you're referencing it as "they."

If the subject of the main clause and the subordinate clause are the same or "As they walk down the street, they ~," it can be so. But in the example sentence, the subject of the main clause is "the children," not "they." So you need to make it clear who the subject is in each clauses.

歩いている （歩く＋～ている） already suggests that the action "to walk" is continuous.
歩いている間 or 歩きながら should be suffice. 歩き続ける間 sounds redundant.

Is 歩き続ける間 even good grammatically in the dictionary form ? It sounds like with "continuing to walk" this is trying to say the subjects were still walking while the children were not, had gone inside the stores etc.

Is she saying that she only got her license when kyoko (her daughter) entered junior high school? If it is that it doesn't make much sense, does it?
