Diru's the first J-rock band I listened to...^.^ I didn't like them at first but now they're one of my favorite bands...Thanks to them I found out about X Japan, Miyavi, Moi dix mois and etc

@SanKele: I heard Duel Jewel first and they did a cover of Akuro no Oka (which is the best song written and recorded and performed, etc, by any human or possibly alien band in existence) and that's how I heard of Diru... <3 i loved Kyo from then on.

i really like to watch the live version of akuro no oka because of that one moment when Kyo raises his arms above his head, his pinkies intertwined, and then tears them apart, and he's singing how "interlinked fingers that joined us broken, i, deeply depressed at the end, saw i loved you... a dream that won't come true, wait at acropolis, i want to sink into sleep with you to unwakeable dreams".... in that moment his voice is so sweet and so full of.... emotion... that one moment always breaks my heart. @SanKele : Nope, mum's forbidden any piercing/tattooing until I'm 18... T.T but im gonna pierce my lip myself. Then she can't do anything about it, cuz grounding me doesnt work... but i don't think i'll try tattooing myself...

Dir en grey were on the cover of Kerrang! magazine this issue in UK! headline and pic on the cover and a long article inside!!! I was so stoked I had to buy the mag (used to get it quite regularly but haven't now for quite a few years, dunno why maybe I just got skinter XD) Anyway the article was pretty good! Anyone else here from the UK Dir en grey fans should definitely get it!

I haven't been following their releases since just before Marrow, which is shameful I know but I have fallen out of touch with a lot of bands in the last couple of years. what are people's opinions about their releases from Marrow onwards? - which is best?
