KANAGAWA,JAPAN — A woman threw her two sons from the 11th floor of an apartment building and then jumped to her own death in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Tuesday afternoon. The three landed on the roof of a car park and died at hospital later, police said.

According to police, a man who was working at a construction site near the apartment called police saying someone had fallen from the building around 2:30. At first, he told police, he thought someone had thrown bags from the building. Police found the woman, 33, and her two sons, 6 and 2, on the roof of the car park. Police have not yet released the names, but said their belongings indicated the woman was the boys' mother

yeah very tragic, sad for her but a lot worse for her sons i guess...
i remember hearing of a similar holiday of a british father jumping from a hotel balcony with his children whilst on holiday in spain. if i remember rightly they all survived but i've never heard of this happening in the uk itself, religious obssesion perhaps??? thats the only thing that i can think of that would make someone kill their children as well aside from just plain psychosis though i guess the two are similar...

Sign of Depression.Need medical attention.Its tough to be a mother so please GUYS give mom some credit appreciate what she do evryday.At work we have managers ,drivers errands.At home she is the only person who run evrything ,not appreciated.HARAM!!!

These incidents are unfortunately not common. Here in Toronto there have been incidents like this. The most famous case was a distrubed father who threw his 3 year old daughter off a bridge onto a busy highway then jumped himself. Thankfully he died and she lived and I think she's doing quite fine now with the rest of her family.

They're not really common where i live at... but it's horrible to hear that someone would actually do that to their kid. And a mother at that... Father's are more on the uncaring side. Not that you should expect this type of thing from them, but the mother is the one who nurtures the kids most of the time. And wouldn't dare to hurt her child. It's sad that some people are killing themselves and their kids just because of something that's bothering them in their life, that if they worked hard to overcome it. They could and wouldn't have to sacrifice their own life or anybody else's.

it must have been some serious stuff, depression or no, to make a mother kill her children. i mean it's pretty heavily hardwired into female dna to protect ones offspring, wonder if anyone's got any background info on this? i.e. why she did it? Not to say that it wouldn't be the same for a father, i think its just as atrocious, wrong and unnatural either way n all...

1. Before it commits suicide she was going regularly to the hospital because she was mentally unstable.

2. Last year She was calling mother's cellular phone , saying that "I want to die".
