Actually, there was a program on the History Channel last night about what the earth would be like if humans were to disappear suddenly - after 5, 10, 100, 1,000 and 10,000 years. It was an interesting documentary of the best ideas from scientists and engineers about how long it would take for buildings and bridges to fall and which animals would survive.

Isn't it interesting to think about?

Because it's in the imagination and makes us think about what we're doing now and whether that's good or bad, and how the earth would be without our influence and whether it would be better or not. Doesn't that sound interesting?

I don't know - probably the only way we'd find out is if the other people are more advanced then we are and come to us! But then would we believe them?
