Dore, from the are, sore, kore family to indicate 'this thing' or 'that thing' is general for which of 'those things (out of three or more).'

Dochira is a general and polite word for 'where.' It can also be used to show which direction (of two), or which person or item (of two) depending on context (and even then sometimes be very confusing to tease out).

どちら and 誰 are not necessarily grammatically interchangeable, however.
Just as they are not in English. Going along with a literal translation of "which" for a moment : どちらの有名人（になりたい） then becomes 'which celebrity' and makes perfect sense if the options available have already been clearly expressed. Do you want to be Ichiro 選手 or Hideki Matsui 選手＞
But used with 誰 （誰の有名人）、の forces the statement into a possessive （trans. : 'whose celebrity do you want to be). Very strange or clear enough only if you believe all celebrities are not acting under their own control, eh ?

公 kou is not equivalent to "price", but it is an honorific used for the people with high rank in the society.
So I believe you can use it for "Lord xxx".
People like Uesugi Kenshin or Hideyoshi are still referred to as "Shingen kou" "Hideyoshi kou" though I'm not sure they were called so during their own time (sengoku jidai).

Thank you for allowing me to play with your team this year. Hockey Japan is much different from hockey in the America, but with you kindness and willing to help you made this great transition very easy for me.

Next season I hope to play for Shin yokohama Prince, but I will DEFINATLY come back to ginga to practice and visit. I think I may have finally talked my brother into playing next year too! Well, anyway thank you and I hope you enjoy a nice summer!"

Is this a dialogue addressing the wife ? It isn't a translation of 'my wife' but you can call yours 'kimi,' 'okaasan' (kaasan) -- or some others that are not as nice. Most men these days thankfully don't use 'kanai,' anyway. ☺

すぐ戻る without the くる is also commonly used for "I'll be right back."

One further question, 所... can it always be loosely translated as meaning 'situation', 'thing' or 'circumstance' in most contexts? And how would it 'exist', can I use あります？
e.g.
バスが来なかったので、むずかしい所があります。
Because the bus didn't come, I have a difficult situation.

In a word, I believe no. You cannot say I'm literally in a difficult spot for in a pinch (バスが来なかったので、困っています。） because the bus didn't come.
所 metaphorically is aspect or area of, not a complete set of circumstances.

英語の表現を直訳してしまったんでしょうね。

Hm I think so! So "短期間でつく。" means By a short time you can master (so and so). Is that what you are trying to say?

I'm assuming going in this is informal. If that is a correct assumption, most commonly you will hear いつくですか？(ikutsu desuka? ) for "How old are you?"

This is a mess in mostly English....but the protocol is basically the same. You just have to bow at the end in Japan and tell them to say something like "はじめまして。どうぞ宜しくお願いします」

1. To introduce the Japanese person to your friends:
ああ、[Person you're introducing them to], 紹介します。
これは、[Person(s) being introduced] です。
Person being introduced 「*Gives their name again* です」

2. If you want to introduce your friends to the Japanese person:
Japanese friend's name を紹介します。

If this is supposed to be a formal set up, uh that changes things. Get back
with us before trying anything like that on your own.

What are romaji alternatives for "hime" when it's used for "Lady so-and-so"? As it stands, I'm using "hime" for "lady" (Asahime) and "princess" (Isehime and Yukihime) in Samurai Warriors 2: Empires.

What's the romaji equivalent for "prince"? Something else for SW2E.

My next question is about a Japanese word and i need your help about this.
The question is; what Japanese called people which are curious about everything and searching everything? (something like curiousity box : ) it is an 8 character word (phrase or idiom). (in Latin alphabet)
