Yeah, that's why I said I heard rumours It's possible they could postpone FVT if they want them that bad.

I guess Diru is opening for Deftones on June 28th in LA, but that's the only show and I don't even know if it's true or not *shrugs* I won't believe it until it's been made offical by one of the official companys like FWA or Warcon or announced by Diru or Deftones or both.

I dunno... Do you really think they would fly all the way here for one show that they weren't even headlining? Unless thay have more business in LA and this is just a time killer. I wouldn't believe it either until you hear a more official announcement.

Yoko, what are you talking about? We just had Diru a month ago. That is most definitely not "nothing", silly person XD

(And no, Kyo is not married. These types of things are more often than not rumors. If anyone in the band got married, I'm sure more than just a couple random internet people would know.)

From what I know is that the Deftones are planning on making a major announcement soon. If it is true and Diru is opening for them then more then likely it will be the whole tour and if so hopefully they'll go back up to Canada.

Kyo would probably make a pretty good daddy. He doesn't strike me as the absent father kind of guy, and I think there is much more to him than the persona he presents to us. Fish hooking or not, his kids (should he ever have any) will probably be OK.

Okay so Deftones has now officially announced on their website that Dir en grey will be touring with them this summer. And some other band....

They are going to be in Utah on June 23 and 24th, but I honestly wonder if they'll allow Diru to perform or if they'll be there doing nothing. (if you know how things are run in Utah then they are very against what kyo does to himself on stage). It sucks if Diru is really going to be with them, since I will be in Canada for schooling, but I could just fly back home to see them.
I really do hope they add Toronto as an upcoming tour date even though it's just their US tour, but still T_T

Blargh. I saw the Deftones live at the Summer Sanitarium tour and they were craptastic--they're a band who has a few okay songs ON THE CD and then don't measure up live.

But...if they're playing somewhere that doesn't drain my wallet...I might sacrifice my pride for Diru. And then just leave.

Deftones will be heading out on a nationwide US tour this summer with Dir En Grey and The Fall of Troy. The band, who are in the midst of a successful run in Mexico, South America, Japan, Australia, the UK, and Europe are looking forward to coming home and playing to their fans in the States. The tour kicks of May 11 in Phoenix, AZ at Mesa Amphitheater and will run through the middle of July. The first string of dates to be announced is :

It's the same for me except they'll be in Utah when i'm away for college pfft.... that sucks too, but i'm thinking about flying home to see them since the shows are on a saturday and sunday I can go and come back for school before my tuesday classes start.
