Two Japan vacations in one year? Crazy?

I'm returning to Tokyo, Japan in a few days, it'll be the second time I flew over there this year on my own dime and I was just wondering, is that crazy?

I don't hear about too many people taking two worldly vacations in one year AT MY AGE (24) without a student-program or for some sort of work. I'm pretty much just flying there to drink and meet girls, am I stupid?

No Im 20 and I'm going back in Dec. On my own dime as you phrase it. This will be my 2nd time this year. And yes most of my family thinks I'm nuts.
 
I don't think that is crazy to go there twice a year... I do think it is stupid that you go there to drink, and for the girls ( but yeah, private stuff that you probably never keep for yourself...)
 
if its what you like to do then there is nothing wrong with it. lol i havent left japan in 2 years...
 
I went last October and then last April (6 mos. later). So I am not the one who would call it crazy.
 
It ain't crazy at all, and I wish I could afford it myself. Have fun while you're there!
 
Since you are just going there to get laid, wouldn't it be cheaper to find some Japanese girls closer to you? Or is it that, you can't find girls here for whom sleeping with a foreigner is some sort of novelty?

I'm not going to get laid LOL. Or drink but I guess It can be said that my purpose for going is stupid as I am only going for some concerts.

Actually -- heh, this year I've been hanging around a ton of girls in America but the moment they get to know the "real" me and they come over to my house and my bedroom looks like Mel Gibson's apartment in Conspiracy Theory but instead of newspapers it's photos I took of Japanese girls and hi8 tapes all over my bed -- after they see that they think I'm psycho and it's a turn off.

What I plan on happening though is I'm going to meet a girl that's been a fan of my website for years and so when she comes over to my house like, the bed with hi8 videocamera tapes all over it and all the photos will make me that much more of a God.


Hopefully she'll have money too, so I can retire and make some babies to be survived by.

Nothing wrong with that. If I could afford to journey to Japan once in a year, I'd do it in a heartbeat! Have fun!

Why don't you just go to Bankok you'd probably get off cheaper and you wouldn't even have to make the girls drunk 👍
 
The purpose is pretty "stupid" but you do what you want it's your life not ours.
But why would you go there and not somewhere else? And if your room creeps them out you should just change it if you REALLY want them to stay with you.
But I think it's nice you get to fly twice! Me and my family only get one flight every two years to the same place,Burundi. Be happy, you're lucky!
 
I'll never go anywhere besides Japan unless it's for making a connecting flight and that means I'll either be in my city, the international airport in Oregon or Tokyo Narita's airport. I've refused to leave these zones on all occasions since 2004 and I mean why would I? That'd be like a doctor working at a fast-food restaurant, you need to surround yourself with your field in order to better yourself in the long run (or in my case the short walk.)

Not at all.

For me, going to Japan to meet Japanese women and drink beer in the streets was what I wanted to do since I was 12 years old but back then my family was poor beyond belief.

So for me to go from a childhood with no money to flying to Japan whenever I want to have a few beers and women is an accomplishment in and of itself. Then also I film, shoot photos and am able to write about what happens, this I've found to encourage others and inspire people who were like me to follow through with their dreams.

If you ever get a chance to watch television in southern California you'll notice that the majority of commercials are for bail bonds.


Irvine is an incredible part of California filled with all sorts of Asian women but Japanese? I saw very few (if any) Japanese and as there should be, there are much nicer places to live in the world (like my city for example which in fact seemingly cators to large amounts of Japanese girls every year.)


Someone once said
"Josh, I just went to Australia and you should go there, you go to the clubs and it's like 80% Japanese girls."
to which I responded
"Hey, I just went to Tokyo and you know what? You go to the clubs and it's like 100% Japanese girls."

Going twice a year is whenever you want? I just made the trip 4 times in 2 months.

Yes. You shouldn't be surprised that girls tend to think poorly of pornographers... It's that whole objectification of women thing. Guys rooms plastered with women in various states of undress sets off a woman's "creep" alarm like you wouldn't believe.

That's a good theory, I guess. The thing is, there are plenty of women, everywhere in the world with self-esteem issues who validate themselves by interacting in less than chaste ways with boys of your type who like to take advantage of them. This is again, a bit how the whole world of pornography works... Maybe this is a sort of carreer path for you. It's not honourable, really... but it is filled with women who use sex as a means of filling some sort of void.

Now you've got it backwards. In this game Josh, you are the one who is supposed to flash the cash... Otherwise, why would they bother?

Been there twice this year. on my own dime. Ah the things people do for women.
As for Josh, hey do what you do, just do you. It doesn't affect me any.

If you can't enjoy life when you are young ( whatever enjoyment is to you) then when can u.... live for the moment... gotta be active when you can...later on who knows what happens...if you can go twice or 3 times year or whenever you can then y not... anyways have fun and be kewl 👍
