A sister thread to the mp3 one. I wonder how much J-pop/rock you have in your car on CD/tape/mp3/ whatever else? All my CDs in my car are of Japanese origin. Some Rock, soundtrack and pop. I find it nice to listen to and better than the rubbish that is played on the radio.
So, what do you have in your car?
P.s: I know some of you are aren't old enough to drive, so what would you have in you car when you can drive?:p

I drive, but I don't own a car. Still, I have made compilation tapes to play on the rare occasions when I drive my mom's car! (Yes, her car is so old it doesn't have a CD player, only a tape deck. O.o)

My choice is conditioned by the fact that when I drive mom's car, it's usually with her in it, so I choose mainly songs that I think she'll like as well. ^^

The current 'driving tape' has on it songs by:
Merry
Penicillin
Deathgaze
Kozi
MUCC
D
Glay
Malice Mizer
Ribbon
Rentrer en Soi
SID

I find that Psycho le Cemu's songs are good 'driving songs', as is the classic, Driver's High, of course! ^^ Vanilla is also a good song to drive to. *sings along* XD If I was alone in the car, Schwarz Stein would be good. ^^ And I imagine the bouncy songs of Kra could work well, also! - and Scissor.

But in all honesty, I enjoy driving to any songs that I like! :car:

Crazy Ol Guy !

The way I drive, I have the police scanner radio and radar unit on at all times. If you are going to speed, you better know where the speed traps are.

Ha, I'm too young to drive.

Though luckily for me, my dad is tolerant of my 'obession' and allows me to listen to what ever I want in the car...as loud as I want. 😊

I mainly listen to
-Miyavi
-Gackt
-L'arc~en~ciel
-Alice Nine
-Old De La Quartz stuff
-penicillin
-Cali Giri
-Ayumi Hamasaki
-T.M revolution
-HYDE
-Morning Musume (they have 1 or 2 songs that I LOVE)
- and Nami Tamaki

Hate to say it but I listen to the radio. I love my CDs too much to stock them in the car. But soon i'll have to pull out my JRock CDs for my trip back up to college.

I thought such devices were illegal in the US?

wait, it's just like...
everything that's illegal?

But whatever, I don't have a car {surprise!} But when I'm driving with my parents I always listen to DeG, Pierrot, Penicillin, Mika Nakashima and Ayu.

State & Federal laws.

The laws vary state to state, depending on how the legislators get money from manufacturers of electronics gear and clubs use their voting power. Most states allow radar detectors and scanners, but have rules on their misuse.

I keep mixed burn cd's in my car. I learned my lesson, after I let someone borrow my car for a week, and my Miyavi and Psycho Le Cemu cd's which I paid $40 for got scratched cause that person just threw my stuff around. Now I got to buy the allover again.

I hate people who don't respect your things. I once lent a book to someone and it came back with pages torn and the cover damaged. For that reason I am loathed to lend people things and usually only to someone I know really well.

And you know the sad thing this person is VERY picky about people touching her things, but then has the nerve to go and toss mine around.

I'm too young and don't have a car yet... :(
And my mom doesn't let me listen Gazette in car very often... She says, that she can't handle "that noise"... -___- Though she loves some Diru songs, like Embryo,Hotarubi,Cage etc.. :-) So I can listen only Diru and Ayumi... :car:

My stepdad listens to Finnish pop radiostation! It's a real torture driving with him!..

I don't have a car, but I usually put on some X-Japan, L'arc en ciel or Zwei, lately. Even while riding my bike. God bless mp3 players and their inventors.

What? xD!? She doesn't what you listening to GazettE but she is okay with you listening to Diru? ☝

Well, I better have my original CD's at home, so I burned various CD's with various bands, yah know all in one XD:

Gazette
Vidoll
Alice Nine
D'espairs Ray
Gackt
Soroban
Dir en Grey
Miyavi
BIS

And then I have some other CD's with my favourite Gazette songs, another one of X-Japan,Gackt and one of my favourite Mexican (latin) songs :-) :-)

Yes, that's a very good option. I borrowed Malice Mizer albums, and even tho they were all ripped, it made me real furious when I got them back with Marveilles scratched all over... I prefer to zip up all the jrock in a cd and then borrow it...

if I had a ca it would b Gazette, Miyavi and dir en grey. but i dont (well i do but i cant drive) so i listen to it on my conmputer!!!
