Beverly Hills, California, which used to be a nice place until the population explosion. Now it takes 45 minutes to go to the corner store.

IF THE SNOW & ICE DON'T LAST TOO LONG......
Portland , Maine is a pretty nice place. 4 seperate & different seasons. Live about 200 yards from the ocean, but can see the White Mountains on clear days. Boston, New York, and Canada are all only a few hours drive away. The local airport is only half an hour away, if you want to fly out somewhere.
a very diverse culture, 103 different languages & dialects spoken at the high school. People aren't super friendly, but will help you at the drop of a hat.If I had to say something bad about the area, it would only be the cost of living & high taxes vs. low paying jobs & limited choices on employment. Been living here 50 years, probably die here some day.

The reason for asking is first of all the fact that I have noticed there are soo many U.S. members, and thought it might be interesting to see where y'all lived.... I LOVE the U.S. and was just curious...I have lived in San Francisco and New York, both very different places, and I can see that you are all spread out in this big, big country!!
I will visit the U.S. in 2005 too, since I love travelling there....
