News Zelenskyy: Kuril Islands belong to Japan

Yesterday, Ukrainian president Zelenskyy signed a decree recognising Japan's sovereignty over its Northern Territories (the southern part of the Kuril Islands) temporarily occupied by Russia.

The President said that Russia has no right to claim these territories, and "everyone in the world knows it well"; therefore, "we must take action at last" and "de-occupy all the lands that the Russian occupiers are trying to keep for themselves". Zelenskyy is convinced that "only in this way can we return full force to international law". "With this war against Ukraine… Russia has put itself in the conditions – and it is now only a matter of time – for the real liberation of everything that once was seized and is now under the control of the Kremlin. The aggressor must lose. So be it. So that such wars do not happen again and that peace will really be long-term. Nothing should be left for the invaders," Zelenskyy summed up.

• On 21 March 2022, the Russian Federation claimed that it would not continue negotiations with Japan regarding a peace treaty on the southern Kuril Islands.
• In July 2022, Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, said that Japan had intensified "revanchist aspirations" with regard to the Kuril Islands.

Ukraine government has a reputation of being super corrupt and where the world went to launder their money. They also say that President Biden is helping Ukaine , not out of the goodness of his heart , but for financial gain past and future. What our goverments tell us is probably mostly propaganda with some truth mixed in. The bottom line of evil here is all the innocent civilians and military members getting killed for the governments doings. The fact that Putin mentioned using tactical nuke weapons has made him no friends in the world and has people talking world war three and nuclear armaggedon. It's kind of sad that no matter what you and I think or want , wars will happen and many die because of goverment wants and agendas. If I lived in a communist country , I would be VERY careful about saying anything bad about my government , so please be careful what you say here.

If only Russia were still Communist, they'd have to adhere to specific political standards and principles. Sadly, nowadays, Russia is nothing but an authoritarian, non-democratic kleptocracy. The only remaining officially Communist countries are China, Cuba, Laos, and Vietnam.

Thinking of it.... "authoritarian, non-democratic kleptocracy" probably describes the former Soviet Union quite well, too.

Since the 2013th you cannot count life, that were ruined in the name of $ green paper.
Nowdays you can count: every ukrainian tank, charging attack with "courage" carries 3 lifes, that sealed and welded by greedy animals, who uses conscripts as meat-shield.

And you are wrong about one thing: Commander Putin got more friends, than anybody anywhere.
They are citizens of our homelands. Living together with natives, emigrants, those who were lost, those who got nowhere to go. We are building home for everyone in the world. It's more like....lazy compromising post-imperialistic stagnation. The quantity of problems becomes outraging. Tring to be "good" everywhere we, unfortunately, lost all authority. And now have to rebuild it back,

My life vs communism. Starting around 1956 , we had "duck & cover" training about hiding under our school desks when Russia dropped the atomic bombs on us. As a child , I had to watch movies of what would happen when the bomb went off next to us(the stuff of horrible nightmares for us kids). During the Cuban crisis , we learned how to build atomic bomb shelters in our homes. The news always had stories how at any minute Russia would start a war with us. During my US Navy years , Russia was the main enemy we spied on and the cause of the "cold war". SO....most of my life has been terrorised by the deadly enemy , Russia. I will say , my hatred has always been towards the Russian leaders and government , not the Russian people. So....when I post negative things here about Russia , it's a very hard habit to break. All our world governments have had years to perfect daily propaganda that tells us who our enemies are and who to hate and it hard not to be affected by it all.
