Hello, I understand some of these photos are mirrored, these are the only photos I have of it because it is currently in transit. I want to ensure authenticity because one person said it looked suspect. Can anyone please translate or verify it is authentic or not? They were bought from an estate sale.

The words on the right side (vertically) are the name of a company: Northeast Promotional Fiber Industry Co. Ltd.
Presumably this would be the presenting organization. Can't tell who the receiving entity is. Normally the recipient's name is clearly written (next to the organization), but I'm not sure who the recipient is on this flag. The organization is (or was) a real one, so that is a good thing. Not enough information to make a call on this one, but...the name of the company is legit s(and written in period-correct lettering) so my wild guess is that the flag is legit.

Today, I traced back the person I recieved it from down two areas he deployed to. Battle of Leyte and battle of Luzon. Do you know of any significance between that organization and those islands at all?

None whatsoever. That organization would have been a textile company which, obviously, was strongly connected with the person to whom the flag was presented - most likely his workplace before he was drafted into the army. It wouldn't be connected to any of his subsequent deployments.
