If you think the above two statement contradict each other, then I'm afraid that you focus only on some parts and did not see the whole.
But I do not think it is worthwhile to further the discussion as you already lost interest.

A person with a zillion errors in every post and who pays little or no attention to verb tense really ought to refrain from offering opinions regarding correct English usage....at least until he can display even a little correct usage in his own posts.
