I am kinda concerned. From the day of the dinosaurs to modern day of digital electronics I have never seen two Asians of different Asian countries get along whether it is on a political or personel level. Why is that?? Have you seen it happen? in class? at work? as neighbors? probably never? Just to randomly name a site http://www.crisscross.com/forum/ we can see koreans, chinese, taiwanese, vietnamese and japanese all at each other throats throwing everything but the toilet seat.

I find this fact knda hard to swallow because they seem to paint each other with the same brush when the fire is actually started by no more than say a few hundred people??

For some odd reason I discovered that koreans don't like chinese with a deep seated hatred. What happened??

Also I am confused to as to what relations do Japanese have with Tibetans and Ulgers/turkistanians. If they care about them so much why did they not liberate them during world war II??

From my experience it seems like this hatred has taken a life of its own and has gone to totally new levels and increasing even. Is mankind really evolving when they act more childish with each passing day?? I wish for a united Asia like a united europe but that is probably impossible task for humans to accomplish.

Right now china seems to get the bulk of the hatred due to corruption of a select few.

Do they really have to fight to the last man to achive peace?? I understand that politically they may not get together but on a personal level?? Hate seems to be an increasing trend these days. A war is bond to happen like this. Don't you think?? For example if I am chinese and approach a lets say korean, vietnamese, or whatever why is the chances of getting attacked whether verbally or physically always at 100%?!?

A few psycho-path or psychologically-twisted loner-type internet junkies surfing Asian-forums absolutely NOT a good representation of average views of Asian nationalities named herein.

You should have questioned crisscross site's administrators as to WHY they've tolerated overt racism there.

Asians are never united. I won't say they 'hate' each other but to a certain extent, 'dislike' each other. I won't say all asians do hold a grudge against their asian neighbours but generally, asians are never united.

In East Asia, the hate-triangle is between China-Japan-Korea. A number of Chinese mainlanders dislike Japanese (coz of WW2) but they think S.Koreans are their friends. However, a number of S.Koreans dislike Japan but mainly China (coz of years of oppression under the Chinese and also because of China's involvement in the Korean War). As for Japan, I think Chinese immigrants have a worst reputation than Koreans in the country (correct me if I'm wrong).

Within the Chinese group, the triangle is between Chinese mainlanders (those in China), HKers and Taiwanese. Taiwanese and mainlanders always argue with each other on the unification issue. Usually, HKers don't really care about international politics but they actually have more negative feelings toward mainlanders.

Same can be said about Europeans, they've slaughtered each other for over 2000 years so it IS NOT uniquely Asian epidemic.

This issue is IRRELEVANT to Japanese culture @ Jref, end of discussion.

i don't think so (politically). at least Europe has something called the EU.

I wish for a united Asia like a united europe but that is probably impossible task for humans to accomplish.

an united Asia will not happen until Japan, China and Korea solve their own problems.

There are smilar problems in almost every country in the world.

Are we suppose to discuss JT crisscross site's resident forumers' racially-motivated mudslings here @ Jref ?

Anyone has interest in such peculiar online entertaiment, crisscross's door is OPEN to you.

Yes, I see Koreans, Chinese, and Japanese getting along together on a daily basis.

Isn't every where in the world like that.. that some guys can't get along and some can.

You've been reading too much into the politics of post war grudges between China, Japan and Korea - protests and whatnot.

But it doesn't mean that people don't get along together on a day-to-day basis. That's definitely not true. In fact, a lot of Chinese, Japanese and Koreans get along very well because they have a large similarity in culture.

I wouldn't exactly rely on websites for proper insight and reflection into something as broad as this...

For example if I am chinese and approach a lets say korean, vietnamese, or whatever why is the chances of getting attacked whether verbally or physically always at 100%?!?
LOL, of course not. You ought to perhaps, travel more? I mean, if you had been to Chinatown in the UK, you would know that this isn't true.

Apparently, our OP has a history ( since he signed on back in 5/2004 ) of opening threads @ Jref centering on hate between East Asian folks with nearly zero interest in Japan and Japanese culture.

We have one local Japanese Mitsuwa supermarket is often frequent by Chinese shoppers including me,they also advertise in Chinese language newspapers.

I personally know a few Taiwan-Chinese female friends have close friendship with Japanese women.

I am here with foreign students from all over the world, including Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, and we all get along just fine with each other as well as our Japanese hosts. If you've never seen two Asians getting along, you live in a very narrow world.

Also, even though tensions are high of late, are any two Asian countries technically at war? Does peace have to mean everyone loves each other?

I mostly think of peace as lack of tension, so I'd say that it's pretty close to meaning everyone loves each other. My idea is something like "inner peace."

I don't think you should judge all Asian people by doinks on message boards. There are people like that in Asia, yes, but there are also many others that don't give a hoot and have no problem associating with other Asian nationalities. It's just that the doinks seem to be more prevalent on Asian forums (an even worse forum is asiasfinest.com...so many doinks bashing everything and everyone...*shudders*).

The problem is that there are so many of them and everyday I find new extremists joining boards. While there are times where they do prove valid points they tend to bend the facts and use the information to paint all Asians.

I mean aren't you afraid these people will become dangerous and stage a coup or something?? When these guys get numerous, they feel powerful thus they will feel that it is necessary to demonstrate the strength of nationalism whenever they see fit.

From what I understand, the Chinese are theoretically the Jews of the east because the rest of Asia seems to blame the Chinese whenever things don't go right. China this and China that, man I am getting tired of this.

Just last week I discovered that Koreans to hate Chinese at an increasing rate. It won't be long before the rest of Asia joins along the hate group. The continent is so full of hate and deep bitterness with anti-chinese BS that I am thinking twice before EVER venturing there because hey I might get assaulted or even killed by a passerby on the streets of lets say Taipei, Seoul or Tokyo. Asia is a dangerous place for Chinese people. Why am I saying this?

Because I always hear stories about how Chinese tourists and immigrants get F**ked over outside of China in so many ways that it isn't even funny. So people are just going over for a vacation and they come back home only to have a limb or two less?!? How carefully have you looked at the website I given ya above??

I don't think you guys understand me well but I do feel very insecure and lacking in self-esteem filled with self-shame because of my ethnicity even though I may have done nothing wrong in my life.

I am an honest man, going to school, getting a job and paying my taxes and once in a while I play the role of a good samartrian. Whats wrong here?? However I am still evil, why? because according to very popular Asian opinion I am chinese, thats why. The first thing that comes to mind of the non-chinese the very second they wake up is what to blame all chinese for today. Its ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS China!! WHY WHY WHY WHY!!!!

Why has the words "love" and "diplomacy" not introduced in Asia yet and boy you call it the 21st century?!?!

Some say that you should be proud of who you are but how is that possible when everyone hates me??

The people at http://www.crisscross.com/forum/ has taught me the following, I don't believe it but here goes:

You are not Korean if you don't hate Chinese.
You are not Taiwanese if you don't hate Chinese.
You are not Japanese if you don't hate Chinese.
You are not Vietnamese if you don't hate Chinese.
You are not Thai if you don't hate Chinese.
You are not...... you can list the rest of the contenent......

This just a summary of what many posters believe. I found hundreds and hundreds of haters so easily. Hell more people hate Chinese than Jews and Chinese also get it worse then Jews by infinite proportions. I can walk out of the street right now and guarantee you that I would get punched in the face just for being Chinese.

Asia is such a depressing continent, so depressing that a new word must be invented. You guys just don't understand the pain I am going through.

How is it that thousands and thousands of haters consider a minority anyway?? Even though I don't want it to be true but Chinese hating is probably a majority's opinion. Sad fact. Humans are still in its fetus stage of evolution and thats an understatement.

I echo what doinkies said. If you go to forums related to Asia, you always find so-and-so-country haters and their post. (You can name any Asian countries, China, Japan, Korea, etc.) But they are not the summary of the actual situation, or the world - they are just one (small) part of it.

I don't deny there are people with anti-China sentiment in Japan, but they are only part of Japanese. (And I guess it is the same in other countries, including anti-Japan as well.) There are also many people interested in Chinese people, culture, language, etc. Otherwise why China is one of the three most popular destinations for Japanese tourists? Why NHK has Chinese language course along with English, French, Russian, etc.? These are just a few examples, there are many more.
Also we have many Chinese people in Japan who are learning Japanese language. I have a few colleagues who are Chinese. And we do have many tourists from China. If it is so dangerous for them, I don't think they won't come here in the first place, especially for sightseeing.

There are anti-Japanese sentiment in China, I've read news that once some people attacked Japanese embassy by throwing stones believing "a Japanese tourist knocked down an innocent taxi driver" which later turned out it was a Chinese person who did this violent act and the Japanese who was there did actually nothing. For those people, anything bad must be Japanese.
But I don't think all the Chinese people think/act like this.

You make it sound as if whole Asian countries and their people are treating Chinese people in the same way Nazi treated Jewish people during WWII.
It is good to ask "why", but it is also important to try to see things from many different points of view, and to ask if "it is really so"?

There are some Chinese founded hate websites like www.antikorea.com and www.antijapan.com,I am never drawn to these extremism forums. There is another one www.sohu.com has ongoing thread titled " HATE Japan and WHY I HATE Japanese " with many hundred pages.

We shouldn't take OP seriously for we don't know his actual ethnicity or race.I've encountered a few NON-Asian persons faked as " Japanese " or some other Asian nationalities.

Me and countless millions of Chinese grew up on avalanche of anti-Japan crap propagated by Chinese mass media outlets for many decades.Frankly,I finally fed up reading recycled anti-Japan articles in major Chinese language newspapers some years ago.

I've requested CLOSURE of this thread, please do the same if anyone here is annoyed by this OP hate-monger ranting posts since 5/2004.

I agree with undrentide and ricecake, I think this person is probably either paranoid or a troll...doinkies read his other posts and I can certainly conclude that. I think he should get out more often.

Can't see anything good coming from this.
