You can PM me all you want and you can report all the posts that you want but there is nowhere on any of the posts that I have written to you in reply that could be considered anywhere close to harrasment or flame baiting, unless you consider people that disagree with your opinions, ideas, or thoughts to be guilty.

I think too many people have drug this thread off topic. I wasn't debating in the first post whether more Japanese men married foreign women or not...I was asking why does there seem to be an increase in Japanese women marrying foreigners.

Yes I am, for over 20 years now

We also have three children together as well. And I might add that there are quite a few members posting here that have Japanese spouses as well.

Which also includes the Japanese-Japanese couples too.

But it is true that the divorce rate between Japanese/American couples is lower than avarage American couples, and actually it is almost the same as Japanese couples.

I don't know the divorce rate between Russian/American couples.

I couldn't be bothered to read the whole post, it's too long, but as far a western men liking Japanese women what's not to like (I am going to generalise here so please don't anyone be offended and I'm a girl so am not sexist)
Japanese women are stunning, I'd never seen an ugly Japanese girl, it's not fair!
I think it also has something to do with most Japanese being on average, shorter than most westerners and I think in some men that makes them feel like they must protect them (does that make any sense?)
My ex loved me because I'm tiny and he wanted to look after me (I'm 5ft5 and about 7 stone) all guys who are attracted to me are the same.
My impression of Japanese women (probably stereotypical) is beautiful, slim, elegant, graceful women. I would kill to be a Japanese woman, even an ugly one! God damn my parents for being English
