Why chinese young people hate japanese even though...

A thing to keep in mind is that though the super-duper 荒らし trolls are the ones that are the most vocal online, that just because there are such people doesn't mean that everybody from the troll's country is like that. I know that a lot of popular message boards in America are often packed with trolls who say doinky things about people, other countries, etc., but that doesn't mean all Americans agree with what those trolls say. Same goes for the anti-Japan/Korea/China people.

I have no reason to hate any nationality. Being racist is the most ignorant thing you can be. Think about it; instead of hating that person you hate the whole race? Didn't know you met every person in that country :p

Actually, I believe it depends on the country. All of the Chinese friends I know here, they don't hate Japanese at all. In fact, they love them. My sister is a big fan of JPOP music.
From my personal experiences, I have to say that it is in fact the older generation of Chinese that dislike Japanese.

Those messages were probably written by that troll that always comes to JREF and spams hate messages under various usernames. The messages always get deleted by the admins. It certainly sounds like that troll wrote them, though I heard that the troll is actually Vietnamese...

If someone sent you such a message, no wonder you feel anger and hatred.


But I want to warn JREF members not to visit the link if they cannot accept barbarous cruelty - I quote the message posted at the forum inciated by the link so that unsuspecting members do not have to visit it and see those awful things... (I did, unfortunately.)

Unbelievable rubbish. Its a sad state of affairs when people can believe, say or do the kind of things such as on this site. I don't think it's necessarily a waste of time to visit these links-it's a reminder of what is out there and what kind of ignorance needs to be taken into account.
 
Most of us do dislike Japan and Japanese..but not all of us do.And not only young people but also olders have prejudice against Japanese.(Some of them are quite extreme,I thought they are just unreasoning)I have my tenet but I don't think everything should be connected with politic.That's unnecessary.
 
As long as hatred and racism continues to be taught in schools and espoused by governments this will never go away. What the Japanese did to China, Korea, Asia and America over 60 years ago is long gone people! Accept it and get over it or this world will always be at war and people will always hate those who are different and whose forefathers caused grief in the past.

Those people are not alive anymore and that type of government and thinking is non-existant and will probably never happen again. Why blame the present generation for the sins of their grandfathers? It is stupid and does not make any sense.

Do I hate the Japanese because my relatives died in the war and were tortured in POW camps? No, I don't as that is in the past and the present generation and government had nothing to do with it. Should my Japanese in-laws hate and despise me because their brothers and uncles were killed in the sinking of a Japanese ship by a US submarine? No, they don't as they realize that the past is the past.

Today Japan is dependent on China and the US and China is dependent on the US and Japan, and the US is dependent on both. If one were to foolishly go to war or attack the other, it would destroy all economies of the world and I do not believe anyone wants that to happen.

Do the Chinese or Korean people actually believe that Japan will attack them in the future? Do any Japanese people believe that China will attack them in the future? If they do they are really an ignorant, brainwashed people and have no understanding of the direction the world is taking today with economies so interlaced and dependent on one another for their survival and livelihood.

It takes a really wise person to understand and accept this and it is sad that the younger generation of many Asian countries allow themselves to be brainwashed by their governments and/or schools into allowing this hatred to continue in the 21st century. I believe it is time for the younger generations to wake up, learn something of the world around them and refuse to allow themselves to be brainwashed by the propaganda of their governments and schools.

Leave the past in the past, go forward and do not blame the present generation for something they had no control over.
 
I agree with Pachipro's post, and I think all the doinks who post on antijapan.com need to read his post. Like Pachipro, doinkies also has a relative who fought the Japanese in WWII, my grandfather. However, neither my grandfather nor my family nor I hate the Japanese or postwar Japan because of past atrocities. In fact, my grandfather has always supported my efforts in learning Japanese, and doesn't mind that doinkies enjoys Japanese culture. He has always continued to love and support me.
 
Re: that sad little site... "Don't feed the trolls" comes to mind. Ignorant narrow-minded ideological twits are never in short supply on the internet. 8-)

You're absolutely right. Unfortunately there seems to be no limit to the depths of immorality and hatefulness toward others. Let's hope that time (among other things) can change those people for the better.
