who else is spending valentines day alone??

hey whats up looks like another year for me spending valentines day alone.. i wouldent have if i dident break up with my G/F lol

I'm not sure yet but I hope a certain person won't let me spend it by myself ^^; But in Finland Valentine's day is more about friends than lovers. Even its name is "Friends' Day" rather than something else. Which I think is a good thing - if you're with someone you can always celebrate anniversaries or something...

I do think people make a big deal of Valentine, but to diminish it into something as friend's days, i'm sorry but that's ruining a tradition that dates as bak as the 1400's i think.

actually, valentines day dates back to the 500's Late 400's I think even.

Oldest valentine's day card still in existance is from like the beginning of 1400's though
wasn't until later (like the middle of the 1700's) that commoners started handing eachother scribbled notes though (I saw all this crap on umm.. discovery or the history channel last year..)
