I am from New Jersey and have lived here for all my life. I have travelled abroad. I was a student on fellowship in England for a year after high school and I studied Mandarin Chinese in Taipei, Taiwan for two years too.

I was born in Canada... I know my father is Chinese and my mother is Japanese... but... I don't know much about my mother's side... I know both my father's parents are Chinese... So... I just assume that I'm 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 Japanese

Canadian living in Japan coming on six years. I'm almost a full-blooded Native American. My father's a Cree from Alberta, and my mother's a Heiltsuk from B.C.'s coast. My mother's side of the family has a Russian four or five generations back.

Where are I from?

I am from the state of Mississippi. I lived in Europe (Germany and England) for a total of 13 1/2 years so I feel a part of me is in each of those places.

Not as someone to be tolerated, but as accepted as any registered member who.
Although I'm only a member here, I understand this is a place where people come to meet other people in all the varied colors and possibilities.
If there is any intolerance or non-acceptance, that is directed towards acts of bigotry, intolerance, and discrimination.
If you ever find anything resembling such, please do a favor by notifying one of the the admins, advisors, moderators, mentors or tutors you find on the members on-line list at the bottom of the forum main page.

Edit" If you already haven't saying an intro in the "Members' Inrotuduction" forum will get you acquainted with some of the welcoming party. Some people are shy, some get lost, some put off till later, but since you seem to enjoy mingling with people, that's another thing you could do. Newbie priviledge so to speak.
