Garlic Boys is one of the best Old School Hard Core bands from Japan. Lately, their music has become a bit more mellow, but it's still good. I love 'em to death.
That's about the most mainstream "punk" band I know..

Or what about 大和 (Yamato)? I sang a few of their songs at karaoke, so I think it's pretty famous. Nothing like No Use though, it's more like punk rock with some typically Japanese melodies (very dynamic) and some songs have a Shamisen (三味線） too. Pretty good too.

Oh, and now I come to think of it, what about Lolita nr. 18? They toured with the Toy Dolls a couple of times. Their music is.. Just as crazy I guess, but then with 4 girls.

Nocturnal Romance - Moi dix Mois

The beginning is slightly similar to Beast of Blood - Malice Mizer [for obvious reasons, I know]

I love their Nocturnal Opera album. Does anyone like it too?

Yays!~ It's alright, I really love this album. It's my favorite so far of Moi dix Mois.

Yurameki - Dir en Grey

I don't like the PV too much, but I love their costumes in this one.

It's like the -ZAN- live on TV. Same costumes, I think. And I loved that one. Shiina Ringo was all fidgety standing next to them. o___o Maybe she was just itchy. <3
