It looks to me that nurizeko san had it about right. Just some high-tech, model role play stuff; nothing more. At the bottom of the page, there was the 'return' button, and that went back to more of the WWII stuff.

I guess the real question is whether they are cross dressing maids or they let women in the WW2 army? Maybe I've just been reading too much manga?

not all, but some high schools have anime/manga clubs here. actually my high school have one. but they were just otaku minority.
i regret i should have contacted them for more contribution here or other sites for anime/manga lovers outside japan now, instead of belonging to stink judo/karate club before.

A wild slightly educated guess would be "Angry" or "annoyed".
mainly because its ever so slightly similar to Kanashii, another emotion.
Also im familiar with the japanese obsession of girls and guns, lets be honest guys, western blokes are just the same, only we prefer the girls to be real, in Japan ink and paint wins.
