What is Tribal Fusion?

I see this at the bottom of my screen whenever I am searching the threads. My pc says "downloading from tribal fusion". Is this the server?

Also, does JREF implant any cookies are anything other than the ones used to keep me from having to log in each time?

I guess what I am asking is...do you use any data miners or anything of the like?
