I'm curious about what the weirdest food combination someone's ever tried is.. for me it's a peanut butter and cheese sandwich.. it wasn't that bad.. and yeah! Now I'm hungry and need to experiment :p 🧪 🧫 🥘 🍱

(Un important random info:MY BIRTHDAY IS TOMORROW AHHHH aka the April 12)

Have a good day! Morning! Afternoon! And night!

I think the Temple of Doom movie took the prize for weird food. Eyeball soup and chilled monkey brains , LOL.

Happy birthday, @どうぞよろしく、ひなです ! I got mine next Sunday, too. :)

In southern Austria, in Styria, the birthplace of Schwarzenegger, as well as in Slovenia, one staple is pumpkin seed oil. It's to die for and used for almost everything: salads, potato puree, soups, dips, marinades and even desserts. One particularly outstanding afters is vanilla ice cream parfait sprinkled with pumpkin seed oil and roasted pumpkin seeds.

Happy birthday! You share it with the Begetter of Lothor (my mum).

Peanut butter and cheese sounds fine to me, provided the cheese is fairly mild.

Strawberries and cream sandwiches are what I think are a Japanese oddity.
Thank you! And I've actually tried that once it's really good! I recommend!!!

Well. From memory

Nugatti + Salami top of it, on bread

Nugatti is sorta like nutella, but Norwegian. But this is when i was a kid basically. The 90s.

Apparently, all the rage in Japan right now. 😖

I've never heard of the peanuts & coke thing but I'm not from the south. A few couple years ago there was coffee + coke product on the shelves in the U.S. but it was short-lived. I first saw it in Japan a few years before that. I haven't seen it in Japan recently either but it may persist in some markets still.

On the subject of drinks, I had the pleasure of seeing my Spanish/German 18-year-old goddaughter at Christmas, and she told me of a popular pastime among older teenagers, which is to make cocktails from Haribo sweets and spirits. There are a lot of YouTube videos made by aficionados, like this one by a very excited French woman.

We need an OMG emoji for reactions.

I'm a big fan of Haribo's, but I'd rather eat them. :)
I have nice memories of transiting at Istanbul airport when younger Spawn of Lothor was 5, and I let him select some sweets from the Haribo pick and mix stand. He had too much sugar too quickly and went a bit weird and overexcited, much to the amusement of nearby passengers. Even now, 'going to Istanbul airport' is family language for going a bit crazy. He still gets a pack of Haribo in his Christmas stocking.

omg1.webpomg2.webpomg3.webp This bought up a question? When an image says you have to buy it's license to use , is that enforceable and something to worry about??

Is it any wonder that adult derangement syndrome is on the rise? 🤪
