Weird Dreams I've Had

I always dream in black and white.
You are a Sith Lord then 😆
I alaways dream in colour, usually very bright. I haven't had a nightmare since I was about 13. I have had some very strange dreams. One where I was searching for the Holy Lightweight Landrover. I found it in a rainforest covered in a green tarpauline with an empty engine bay. Analyse that one Freud. I was working with landrovers at the time. Another one where I'm flying over Blue tiled cliffs on a really sunny day. One of the weirdest must have been when I got a bad bout of food poisoning. I dreamt I was a tree with little elves living in me.
Not a great believer in dream interpretation myself. There are too many views on it. As far as I'm concerned it is your mind sorting out various conscious and unconscious parts of your mind. Things that are bothering you.
I just wonder what the dog dreams about. She twitches and yelps in her sleep, and she snores!

Well, folks, I've just had another weird dream last night. If you can figure this one out, then you're good, real good!

In this dream, I took the train up to New York City (little under two hours away from Philly) on a Saturday to spend the day goofing off. My first stop when I go to NYC is a comic book shop on 33rd street across from the Empire State Building, when I approached the shop, standing next to the door is a gorgeous Japanese woman with waist long hair and dressed in a traditional kimono. New Yorkers, being the jaded lot they are don't give her so much as a second glance as she's looking around her as if she's waiting for someone, but she caught my attention instantly.

When the woman sees me, she breaks out in a huge smile and bows to me. Puzzled as hell since I've never seen this woman in my life. I ask if she knows me, she says she doesn't, but she's seen me in her dreams for months, and was determined to find me, adding that intuition told her I'd come to the city on this very day, and to that comic shop at that very time. Still puzzled, I stammer that it's amazing, still smiling, she nods, tells me her name is Mariko, and that she was deeply in love with me and she came all the way to the States from Japan because she was destined by fate to become my wife!

And that was then that I woke up, startled as all get out. Now that was an absolutely incredible dream since I've always been of the opinion that no woman in her right mind would want to marry a hopeless loser like me, least of all an attractive and cultured looking Japanese woman like the one from my dream. Opinions, folks? A premonition, or just wishful thinking?

Mike, your dreams sound like Simon's. Do you write? I have always put his dreams down to overactive imagination, what with him being a writer. The night before last he spoke aloud in his dreams, which he often does. He started "OK, lovely Michelle." I thought, "I don't need to hear this!"😲, but to my relief he continued "Next question for you!" Sounds like he was hosting Blind Date in his sleep!:D Anyway, I gave him a good nudge before he said something more incriminating! He couldn't remember what he'd been dreaming.

That's a beautiful dream Jeff, but I'm surprised to hear you're not married already! I just assumed that a handsome, articulate guy like you would have soon gotten snapped up! Simon (who is less logically minded and much more imaginative than me!) thinks that sometimes when you dream about someone you have never met that they are a real person, who you are communicating with on some other plane. Maybe that's what happened to you!

I used to write short stories when I was younger. I should really get back into it, but I can be lazy.
Jeff, it sounds like your pinching Franks dreams, especially the long black hair.

Wow! That's deep! Communicating with someone on another plane! That is really thought provoking, especially to someone like me who also thinks more logically minded. Oh, and here's another aspect of that dream which I forgot to mention, Mariko and I spoke entirely in Japanese, and I'm not at all fluent in the langauge! All in all, it was a pretty wild dream, the likes of which I've never had before. As for not being married already, well, these things happen I guess.

My dreams consisted last night of a little armoured dude with a big flag marching across a map, and he dwarfed the mountains and cities.

Community note: DONT play a bout of rome total war campaign all day, it will effect your dreams. 👍

i had a dream once that i was being chased by a giant ostrich that had diddy's clothes on (hes from donkey kong)! thats a weird dream. ☝

Just for fun, I went to New York City on Saturday, and, as is my habit, I went straight to that comic book store I mentioned previously. Of course, no one, least of all Mariko was waiting for me. And I had the colossal nerve to be disappointed. Lord, I need to get a life.
