Wedding speech in Japanese - please help

Hi everyone!

I am new to the Forum but very excited to engage and learn more about Japanese culture. This weekend I am giving a toast at my friend's wedding. He and many of the guests are fluent in Japanese, but I do not know any. My friend is very interested in hip hop music and in English often uses the term 'gangster' to describe something that's really cool or sweet.

I want to surprise everyone by starting my speech off with "This party is so gangster!" or another phrase in Japanese that would have a similar interpretation (if that expression isn't used in Japanese).

Any help you might have in telling me what the English transliteration is would be much, much appreciated. I think that the groom will find it very funny.

For the sake of all the other people there, I would not use that term. It may be recorded, and if there is some misunderstanding, do you want that for the rest of posterity on tape?

Can't help you. I don't know the crowd, and that's important.

Just how many Japanese people will be there (U.S.?) compared to those who won't understand any Japanese?
