Guys, I have a burning qns on these two usages of 'ku' form of 'i' adjectives.

1) これも恐ろしく強制的で胎児に他の選択はない。

2) バレしている嘘を平気でつき続ける奴が、たまらなく嫌 いだ。

For these two sentences, is the ku form the connective form or is it modifying the word after it??

From what I know, the connective form is 'kute' but sometimes, the 'ku' form is used instead...So I am not too sure....

If its for modifying verbs, then the 'ku' form doesnt seem to fit in here as the word that follows after it is not a verb....

So guys, which is it?? Is the ku form here the connective form or the adverbial form??

Any form of explanation will be greatly appreciated!👍

恐ろしく and たまらなく are not adjectives but adverbs.
They are modifying the verb/adjective that comes right after them.

恐ろしく強制的 awfully stringent
たまらなく嫌いだ I really hate (so and so person)
