I just received the results by email. I was selected for the scholarship!! I will be going to Waseda GSAPS beginning in September!

Hi! Congrats on your scholarship! I am also accepted and just wanted to let you know - but you probably do already - that if you start Oct. 1st, you cannot go to Japan in the beginning of September, but only 2 weeks prior to Oct. 1st. But, perhaps your program starts in September, in that case: ignore my message

As far as I know, there are me and two other guys from this forum.
According to my professor, the visa procedure should be able to start after 16th this month.

I have applied for Research student course (then Master course) at Graduate School of Information Science and Technology.

Regards the accommodation, the administration office has contacted and sent me an application for international student housing, which i have filled it and sent it back to the administration office.
However they stopped replying my email after I had sent them my housing application.

What about you? Which department did you apply for? And did they tell you anything about the accommodation procedures yet?

Which university you applied for ? Each university has different procedures.

You can contact your university administration and also enquire to your colleagues applied for your university.

Don't worry, I'm sure they'll let you know regardless of the results. I got an email around 6am central-european time, so about 1pm Japanese time.

It was the office of my department, they got the information from the International Office. So probably it depends on your department when they'll be sending out the results. Good luck!
