Translate the following sentences into Japanese.

1)The current economic downturn has caused many multinational corporations to become insolvent.
2)Benjamin Benenke, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank, is known as Helicopter Ben because his economic policy revolves around printing money out of thin enough to cause hyperinflation.
3)Because China owns many credit default swaps (CDS) on many of the major multinational corporations, President Barack Obama had little choice but to provide various stimulus packages using taxpayer's money to bailout private companies to save the nation.
4)Imagine if George Soros gave China the ultimatum to free Tibet or otherwise America will renege on the trillions of dollars of debt to China to President Hu Jintao.
5)If George Soros threatened China in such a manner, he will be known as the man who broke the Bank of China, which will overshadow his current reputation as the man who broke the Bank of England back in the 1990's when the British Pound was pegged to 2.95 Deutschmark, following the policy of Bundesbank.

I am not phrasing it as a demand, it is a request. Sorry, I am not Japanese, and while I am studying Japanese, my Japanese is not good enough to translate these sentences myself.

"Translate this." Sure sounds like a demand to me. Give it your best shot and then people will help you out with any mistakes/questions you have.

I want to see what you guys could come up with. Do I have to pull teeth to get a simple request?

沢山の経済的な専門用語なんか僕みたいな外人には非常に大変なのである。僕は今のレベル間で日本語の言語力に持って来るのも非常に三年間苦労しました。多分僕にはJLPTLevel３の試験を通るのは不可能である。

済みません、僕は日本語が下手なので、頭を下げるしかないと思います。皆様どうもお願いだから文章を訳して下さいませ。

If you consider asking for a favor politely to be like "pulling teeth", I don't think you will get many positive feedbacks here.

Would you go up to a stranger and just tell them "Translate this"? Although this is just an internet forum, common sense courtesy still applies.

There are people on here who are nice enough to help out those who are just starting out like yourself. Let us remember they are people with lives who would be putting some thought/time/effort into answering your "simple request".

Like I said, how would you approach someone with this request in real life? If I were you, I would explain to them why I am trying to translate these sentences first, then ask them if they could help me with them. Nicely.

I was assuming that those who would translate something like this would be a Japanese person who would have no problems with translating my sentences, rather than someone who is closer to my beginner level of Japanese.

I am sure that words like economic downturn or federal reserve bank are everyday words to the average Japanese person. It would be however a arduous struggle for someone like myself who would have no access to finding out such technical words in Japanese, especially when I am just a beginner who cannot read Japanese newspapers yet.

As you've probably gathered, this board is for helping people learn Japanese. Translating a document and doing all the work for you is not helping you learn anything, you have to do some of the work yourself so others can help fill in the blanks. There are people here who could translate the article, but that's not the point.

You've spent more energy making excuses in Japanese for why you can't even try to translate the article yourself, why not give it a shot? If your problem is vocabulary, just use the English vocabulary in its place, or make a list of words you have problems with.

Difficult vocabulary can best be found by going to wikipedia, and looking to see if there's a link labelled "日本語" on the left hand pane.

i.e. "Multinational Corporation" is 多国籍企業
"hyperinflation" is ハイパー・インフレ (from the page on Inflation)
and "Credit Default Swap" is クレジット・デフォルト・スワップ or just CDS.

In fact, Benjamin Benenke even has his own wikipedia page in Japanese.

Has Canada also stopped teaching grammar? "Translate this" is an imperative sentence....a command....not a request.

I am constantly amazed at the number of people in the English speaking world who apparently were never taught that the magic word is "please". I don't think it would break your jaw to say it.

While you protest that your Japanese is not very good, you did display that you are aware that different grammatical constructions are used for commands and requests in Japanese. Surely you can't then claim ignorance that a distinction between the two also exists in English.

The proper thing to do when seeking help with translations here is to first post your own best effort. People here are generally eager to help, but there is a huge difference between "help me" and "do it for me".

I've always been glad to be able to truthfully say I've never met a Canadian I didn't like. Please don't deprive me of that.

Anyways, as people said, you should attempt the translation yourself and come back for feedback.
As far as I understood you are learning Japanese, but then why would you pass on an occasion to train?

Alright, then I will try. But my sentences will just be crap.

２）連邦準備銀行の議長ベンジャマン・ベナンキは、量的緩和政策をハイパー・インフレする程度激しく実装するのでヘリコプタ・ベンと知られているのである。

Now that took massive research. I think it came out somewhat awkward. Please help me polish these two sentences first before I move onto 3,4, and 5. Nice Gaijin, I think your Japanese is so much better than mine. Do you want to do one of them too?

よし、他の文章は？最初のはもう訳してもらったんじゃない？

書き方がちょっとかたいけど、話題に合うと思う。「原因なのである」の「なの」は必要ないかもしれない。 any second opinions?

oh my god I just wrote a bunch of stuff out and lost it. I'm a little frustrated by that so I'll just try to rewrite my attempt. Doesn't help that I've hardly written anything in Japanese in over a year, or that I avoid talking about this kind of stuff even in English...

ハイパーインフレをさせる政策のためで、連邦準備銀行の議長ベンジャミン・バーナンキは「ヘリコプター・ベン」と呼ばれている。

I'd avoid ending every sentence with である, it's like ending all your sentences with an emphatic "PERIOD!"

If you need "quantitative easing" then:
