To memorize the pronunications of Japanese kanji words

Is there a good game or website that can help a foreigner learn Japanese kanji words, especially the pronunciations of Japanese kanji words?

There are a lot of games for the DS like this (漢検ＤＳ series, なぞっておぼえる series, etc).
They're aimed at native speakers but they test you on the correct reading for kanji words (and also the correct kanji given a word in hiragana).

There's also this which is aimed at schoolkids and works a similar way: 漢字の勉強を無料のネットゲームで！-小学漢字1006文字をマスター！漢検対策にも- ★まなゲーらんど★

just practice reading, learning how kanji are used in context is the most practical way to remember their readings.

Can you recommend me some good DS game to play?

I've tried 200 Mannin no KanKen - Tokoton Kanji Nou but it forces you to write in those stupid stroke orders, which I can't remember, so everytime I tend to write a hiragana usually the letter appears to be wrong.

You'll find that a problem with anything that uses handwriting recognition (including pretty much all the DS games) - they use stroke order to help work out what you're writing, although some are a bit better at recognition than others. You can usually work out what hiragana it's confusing and take more care with those. Sometimes making sure you're using all the writing space helps. I had a problem for a bit with one that wanted a number inputting (e.g. in multiple choice), because it wouldn't recognise my "5" unless I used a particular (odd, to me) way of writing it.

The 漢検ＤＳ series are quite good (but do test some useless info like stroke count - this is not something to be memorised, you can just draw it in your palm and count, after all). I used to keep paper/pen nearby and make notes of unfamiliar vocab so I could look up English meanings later.

I've also used なぞっておぼえる大人の漢字練習 - the main issue here is that it's aimed at adult native speakers, so the vocabulary level is quite high and difficult terms come up even in beginner levels (whereas lower levels of the 漢検 are aimed at primary school students in Japan so the range of vocab they use for those is more limited). I particularly like their themed quizzes.

I also figured out that stroke order is not an issue by now, since there is an edit option and no time limit. XD

My Japanese level now is somewhere at the beginning of N3 and at the end of N4 so I'm not worry much about the native user barrier of those games. Gotta work harder... XD
