NEW YORK (AP) -- Thirty-five years after computer scientists at UCLA linked two bulky computers using a 15-foot gray cable, testing a new way to exchange data over networks, what would ultimately become the Internet remains a work in progress.

KUDOS to the Internet Developers!

The Internet has really come a long way in a short time. We have really benifitted so much from this. The internet which was originally for military purposes has bridged families, friends, business associates, teachers and students and other what-have-yous in the most remarkable and faster way.

I was thrilled of the new feature the developers are trying to make especially on data-intensive applications to quote:
