Hello, native English speakers.
Do (a) and (b) have the same meaning?
(a) The first question was how old I was.
(b) The first question was about my age.
Would (c) be incorrect?
(c) The first question was my age.
Thanks in advance.

(c) is OK in spoken English but I prefer (a) and (b) for written English. (a) and (b) basically have the same meaning, though (a) asks for a specific number, for (b) a range of ages may be a possible answer.
