For an assignment, my girlfriend translated into English this song, that is apparently romantic, originally by Masashi Sada.
This song is played at weddings she says.
Her translation of the first verse is :
Quote:
Before I take you as a wife
I have things that I want to tell you
I will tell you some severe things
but listen to my real intention
You cannot go to bed before I do
You also cannot get up later than I do
Cook nice food, be beautiful at all times
I don't mind if you try in an extent that you can achieve
Does anyone know the Japanese name of this song, where I could download an mp3, and the lyrics for it, in romanji or hiragana??
I want to learn to sing it, in case it come in handy one day... I'm just starting to learn Japanese, so initially I'll just learn the song phonetically, and hopefully start to understand it as I learn.......
And, is this really still seen as a romantic song in Japan ??? It sounds very sexist.....
Thanks
