Talking about video games in japanese

Hi, I've been learning japanese for a few months now, and I was wondering how to talk about games in japanese.

Also was wondering what the particles "na" and "o" do.


それとも、ゲームソフトを開発するのですか?
Or do you develop game software?

The above is something a friend of mine said when we were talking about video games. Could someone please translate the romaji and tell me what the kanji means please?

Soretomo, geemu sofuto (game soft) wo kaihatsu suru no desu ka?

開発(kaihatsu)=development
